I want to write a book. In this book I would like to explore the world that might be possible to build. It’s a world that will hopefully be more equitable, or at least as equitable as I can conceive of. This book is going to require a lot of research into many different topics. I plan to use Obsidian to organize this information. While I love to design systems, actually sticking to them and remaining organized over time is a struggle.
Full disclosure, AI models will be used as tools in this project. While I do not plan to heavily use it for the creation of actual content, it will be used for Vault and website management, and to modify content that has already been written. For instance, I might use an AI model to polish, summarize, or restructure content, or to assist with research. Additionally, I think best in a dialogue type fashion, so very often when trying to conceptualize an idea, I will have a conversation with an AI model. This allows me the ability to talk through my thoughts while also capturing that content.
While I know there are many objections to the use of AI, I feel that most of the objections are not to AI itself, but instead are objections to how capitalism is and plans to use AI. I recognize that some will not want to support my work because of this, and I accept it, because the use of AI models will likely feature heavily in the overall world building and story, so if you are anti-AI, I don’t think you would enjoy my content anyway.
