About me
Hi, I’m Lex, a queer, neurodivergent aspiring author. I have an academic background in healthcare, political science, law, and computer science. I am embarking on a project to research my first book in public.
Project overview
This project will be the research for a book I want to write. This book will be fiction, but will be based in research. I want to explore what sort of society we could build if we shaped our world to be sustainable, equitable, and built with love and community at its heart. In practice, I am a realist, but when it comes to fiction, I believe in a happily ever after, so this book will serve as our happily ever after once we move through and survive the societal changes that would be required to build such a world.
Community input
While I hope that this project will ultimately produce an entertaining and thought provoking book, the research and synthesizing of thoughts and wisdom in one place is a worth while pursuit. I hope this information is useful to others. I also hope this project is seen as worthwhile to warrant engagement. Please challenges my ideas and principles. I only have one lived experience to draw from, so I don’t expect to see everything clearly on my own. Additionally, any world I hope to build will rely on the community living in it. I invite you to join my community, and help build a world that will serve us all.
